Black Girl Magic” is a piercing, beautiful, and much needed call to let black girls be just that- girls filled with hope, wonder and magic. This spoken word short film, brought to you by Kae King, the writer/performer of the LALIFF award winning short, “In Case I’m Next”, celebrates and seeks to validate the dreams of black girls in hopes of a day where it doesn’t take a magic wand to fulfill them.
